Laminated glass is two or more glass sheets joint together with an inner layer of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) film to which the glasses adhere to under specific heat and pressure conditions. Once sealed together, the glass ‘sandwich’ behaves as a single unit and looks like a normal glass. However, laminated unit is unarguably the safest glass product since the glasses stay in place in the event of breakage nullifying any risk of injury. Our laminated variety uses only the highest-grade PVB interlayers that can be securely laminated between glass lites.
Laminated can be annealed, toughened, heat-strengthened, bent, wired, patterned, tinted and made reflective. It is easy to install and can be cut, drilled or notched on site. The PVB film offers newer interlayer technologies offer very high strength-to-weight ratio – so strong that they remain self-standing even after breakage in point-fixed or single-edge mounted architectural applications.
Laminated glass doesn’t shatter like ordinary glass. The tough, clear interlayer absorbs impact, resists penetration, and remains intact even if broken, holding glass fragments in place and lowering the risk of injury.
Many residential and commercial break-ins are made through windows and glass door panels. Laminated glass offers one of the world‘s most secure interlayer technologies for greater strength and stiffness against attack. Depending on the thickness, laminated can protect against fire, earthquakes, bomb blasts and is even resistant to bullet penetration from high-powered rifles.
Laminated greatly reduces the transmission of outside noise and acts as a powerful noise insulator.

Laminated can be tinted to reduce heat gain, control glare, and lower air conditioning expenditures.
Ultraviolet light is the leading cause of deterioration and fading of furnishings, pictures and fabrics. Laminated is manufactured with UV-absorbing additives that can reject 99% of the UV light within a band of 200-380 nanometre wavelengths, without affecting visibility and plant growth.
Unlike film overlays or stick-on window protection, laminated inter-layers are processed using the highest quality machinery, staying permanently in place and not peeling or getting damaged.

PVB Interlayers Coloured
Laminated glass PVB interlayers are available in clear and 20 other different colours (milky white, strawberry, green apple etc.). If used in doors & windows or façade, it does not allow much light in the building. It is mainly used in interiors as wall features or cabinet doors.
Glass Surface Lacquered
Laminated glass can be lacquered on back panels without risk of flaking, peeling or damage. It is available in unlimited colour range. If used in doors & windows or façade, it does not allow much light in the building. It is mainly used in interiors as wall features or cabinet doors.
Tinted glass are produced by small additions of metal oxides to the float or rolled glass composition. These small additions colour the glass bronze, green, blue or grey but do not affect the basic properties of the glass except for changes in the solar energy transmission. The colour is homogeneous throughout the thickness.
Laminated glass are painted with custom-designed ceramic paints imposed on glass. Any design can be added to glass panel such as coloured dot, strips, square etc. Compared to coloured PVB or lacquered glass, it allows light to come in. It is available in over 100 designs and colours or for a large quantity, any designed can be manufactured.
